Next to Aeries and Canvas on many T-wolves’ phones are a variety of colorful, yet sometimes confusing mobile games. Let’s discuss how they work and which is best for you.
One of the most popular games currently is Clash Royale, a strategy game where players build an eight-card deck to defend their three towers while destroying their opponent’s. Cards fall into four types: troops (moving units that fight); spells (instant effects); buildings (stationary defenses); and your champion (the strongest card with a special activated ability). Deploying each card costs a set amount of elixir, which slowly regenerates over time. Success hinges on timing and resource management, as knowing when to defend or throw in the perfect combo can decide the match. So this Halloween, it’s not ghosts you should fear—it’s the Skeleton Army rushing to your tower before you can say “trick or treat.”
In Brawl Stars, players battle using unique characters called Brawlers, each with distinct stats and abilities. Sure, you can camp in the bushes to dodge danger for a while, but as the ever-sassy brawler Belle says, “You can run, but you can’t hide.” You might be the last one standing in Showdown, score goals like Cristiano Ronaldo in 3v3 Brawl Ball or scramble for gems while dodging attacks in Gem Grab. Fans of high-stakes player-versus-player games will feel right at home here.
Block Blast is a puzzle game where you fit differently shaped colorful blocks into an 8×8 grid to clear lines and score points. It sounds easy–until there’s nowhere left to squeeze that one annoying piece and it’s game over. The trick is to place blocks strategically and keep clearing full lines to create space. But as your score climbs, be wary of those diagonal, space-hogging blocks that’ll turn your perfect plan into chaos.
