“A lot of times women are seen incompetent or complacent in comparison to men, which has harmed a lot of my own and other women’s abilities to pursue their paths to success. In order to achieve our goals, women often have to put in much more effort than men do because we are fighting stereotypes while simultaneously pursuing our goals. Through the NOW club, we hope to change the reluctant attitudes surrounding the club and create a more inclusive environment. We foster an atmosphere of informative discussion and hope to advocate for a better sense of community within school.”
